Shayla's still learning how to make a frisbee fly, but she's almost there! She's getting closer all the time.

This is a celebration of a few of my cousins that have now achieved quite a bit as young adults. As a family we chose to celebrate their success with this familial get together.

Here are a few pics of some of my younger relatives. There will be many more throughout the day.

My daughter absolutely loves being a part of a cadre. It's fun to watch. I think as a kid I was really rather solitary. (Maybe I wasn't and it's just my fuzzy memory.) Even as an adult, I really prefer my ratio of solitary time to heavily outweigh my public or group interaction, but with kids--mine anyway--she makes me meet my neighbors, and socialize with complete strangers. All in all, it's probably pretty good for me.

Kids are full of life and naturally reintroduce their parents to parts of it that they have forgotten.

My daughter is growing so fast! I took these photos and this little video yesterday, and then took a step back in amazement at how fast she is developing and turning into a wonderful little girl.
