It was Shayla's first puppet show. The friend that invited us didn't know what the theme of the show was. We assumed it was a kiddie show; it was not. The theme was on American Corporate malfeasance. It was at one of Austin's Bohemian type cafés. We should've known, but didn't think twice. :) It was good even though she didn't understand it, and although there were scary monster type personifications she was more concerned with the mysterious mechanics of the show than anything else. Here are a few pics of the show and place. There were many kids so apparently we weren't the only ones with assumptions in play.
