Here's a few pictures of Shayla with some Antique Tea Roses that her Grandma Joan gave her. She promptly pulled most of the little petals off those things, but some of them made it through, God bless her. Rule no. 1 : Look the item(s) over. Rule no. 2 : See if they/ it make noise or perform a special action. Rule no.3 : Disassemble. These rules of engagement between child and thing(s) living or dead hold up under most circumstances. :)

Here's a few photos of Shayla messing about in the sprinkler while we water our lawn. Even though we've had rain recently our lawn needs more help than the average due to high kid traffic.

I am totally flabergasted by how acutately my child mimicks my behavior. It's so sobering.
  As parents we really have to be alert in order to be good role models for our kids. It's a really good training excercise for self awareness. Probably one of the best. :)
  I love it. Hard at times, but so good. It is the Root of Life Itself: Child Rearing.
