Shayla is going to spend a little time with Nana and Risa in Houston this week. They're going to do a lot of fun things, which have mostly so far been kept secret. Have fun baby girl. What are we going to do with such a quiet house while she's gone?? Maybe we should record the sound of it so that we can play it back to ourselves later. Haha. Seriously, we'll definitely cherish it. :)
...and said "daddy, this hat looks just like you." Hmm. I'm not so sure about that...unless it would be in some kind of crazy alter ego, perhaps. Haha.

Our friend, Ellen, brought the classic art project game 'Spyrograph' to lodge last night as a gift to Shayla. She's playing with it today and loving it!! Thank you Ellen!
