This is a running weblog of a dad’s stories, thoughts and reflections about parenting, a parent’s life and just plain old life in general inspired by his sweet little spitfire of a daughter. This blog was started when she was one and a half years old. Now she is 6 going on 12, and so on and on the writing goes……
While Shayla and I were at Ruta Maya today the afternoon Hip Hop dance class commenced. Shayla was really taken with all the dancing and really wanted to participate, but it was a very organized class and I couldn't let her. It was hard for her, but she accepted it. In a few years though Honey, it'll be all yours. :)
My little daughter is insisting that I wear this doll's headband on my forearm today so we can be 'twins'. :) Why does this thing look so much like a garter belt?
We seem to have run across some big acorns today on our walk to the park. Pretty cool. Shayla was excited as all she's seen thus far have been the little ones. I think these are from a different kind of oak.
